What this means for your wrestler:

• Athlete Safety & Accountability – Coaches meet national standards, including background checks and SafeSport compliance.
  Insurance Coverage – Secondary coverage during sanctioned practices and events.
  Access to Competition – Eligibility for official local, state, regional, and national USA Wrestling events.
• Certified Coaching & Development – Training aligned with national best practices.
• A Clear Pathway Forward – Connection to the same system that develops high school, collegiate, World, and Olympic wrestlers.

• Area 51 requires that wrestlers carry a Limited Folkstyle Membership ($20) to attend our practices. This provides insurance coverage and eligibility to train with a USA Wrestling chartered club. The 2025–26 membership is valid through August 31, 2026.
  
  If you compete in freestyle/Greco or attends major regional or national events, a full membership may be required — but that is not required to practice with Area 51. Limited memberships can be upgraded anytime.
